Dramatic Irony: when the audience is aware of something that a character in the literary device is not aware of
Situational Irony: when what was expected to happen does not happen in some cases the exact oppposite of what was expected to happen happens
Verbal Irony: when what is said is the opposite of what is meant
Ambiguity: when the ending of a literary device is left for the reader to make up

Five facts about Virginia Fox
- Virginias mother was a poet (explains her own ambition)
- Fox sold her first story to Wee Wisdom Magazine at the age of 12
- her work gives readers insight on outside worlds, such as astronauts, female leaders, advances in technology,and many neglected subjects
- because her husband had a job in which he needed to travel a lot she was able to live in the Philippines, Iran, Colombia and Tunisia and wrote about the different cultures and geography she came across
- Midwest Writers Award for Apprentice to Liberty
